Vanda Daminato

VISUAL ARTIST

Vanda Daminato is a renowned Italian artist living in Milan, Italy.  Born in the village Mezzolombardo which sits in the picturesque area north of Lake Garda, Vanda’s personality blossomed through the numerous moves her family had to face during her childhood.  Thanks to these positive memories,  she discovered her sensitivity and creativity so once she obtained her law degree at the University of Ferrara, she decided to dedicate herself to painting things she loved such as horses.  She quickly developed an interest in archaeology and was inspired by Ancient Rome, Magna Greece and Ancient Egypt. By 1970, she was working as a professional artist.

My creations are an expression of who I am and a faithful fusion between Italian history and culture.

I always aim for the highest accomplishments and it is a delicate role to master but I have learned to take care of the littlest details combined to new ideas with sophisticated techniques and alluring colours.  This is what makes the final difference.

I focus on the beauty of my artwork, on the originality of it, on the craftmanship that goes behind it and its message as luxury does not survive on quantity but rather on quality.
